Start Date: 05/05/2025  Compensation: $75,750 - $97,500

Dynamic landscape architecture firm in Brooklyn and the Hudson Valley with a diverse portfolio and a commitment to sustainable practices is seeking a Project Manager to contribute to our diverse staff of designers, fabricators, and gardeners. We design, fabricate, and install award-winning landscapes for institutions, new construction, and high-end residential projects.  This job includes overseeing on-site installations and shop fabrication projects. Our goal is to achieve a high level of craft in a safe, productive, and equitable work environment.  

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Oversees the planning and preparation phases of construction projects, managing budgets, developing schedules, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and field walkthroughs, including taking site measurements and photos
  • Conducting and documenting regular preconstruction meetings, keep daily reports, and attend weekly meeting as needed
  • Prepare change orders, RFI's, Submittals
  • Help prepare accurate time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for bidding construction projects
  • Assist with new project interviews and site walkthroughs
  • Review scope details and specifications for new projects
  • Responsible for communicating progress and scheduling changes to client
  • Assist Senior Construction Manager in weekly and monthly employee scheduling
  • Help to obtain the appropriate permits and licenses from authorities for construction sites
  • Attend weekly staff meetings to discuss upcoming schedule and work flow
  • Assist Senior Construction Manager in material orders and procurement
  • Create material lists for each job and reach out to vendors for quotes and lead times

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail‐oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Skilled at multitasking and working toward multiple deadlines
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in sophisticated landscape construction
  • Proficiency in MS Office, experience with Autocad and Revit a plus
