 Compensation: $20-$25/hr.

We are a small landscape design, installation and garden care company that works from Manhattan to Montauk and sometimes beyond.  Our primary work regions are the Huntington area and Fire Island.  Our scope of work includes containers, small city gardens, eco-scaping with native plants, seashore gardens and traditional landscapes.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Landscape Installation: site prep, planting trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals and all things to create a beautiful space.
• Garden Care: transplanting, weeding, light pruning and all things to keep a garden healthy.
• Facilitation: logistics, plant selection and all things to have a project ready for execution.
• Business Administration: assist with project organization, tracking, budget management and all things necessary to keep a project efficient and organized.

What You Will Gain:

• Hands on experience in all aspects of a boutique landscape design company from design through execution to post installation care.
• Flexible hours
• Compensation between $20 and $25 per hour based on relevant experience.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Intern qualifications include work towards a degree in horticulture, landscape design or environmental science.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., and ride a bike (Fire Island).
• Able to work in all weather conditions.
• Valid NY drivers license.
