Compensation: $55,000-$65,000 DOE
We’re looking for a hands-on Operations Foreperson to lead our landscape installation and maintenance projects across high-end residential and commercial properties. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a deep knowledge of native plants and ecological landscaping, and experience managing crews and job sites.
The Operations Foreperson will oversee daily operations, including crew scheduling, equipment maintenance, material procurement, and quality control. They’ll be responsible for executing a variety of sustainable landscape projects—from meadows and rain gardens to hardscaping and irrigation—while adapting plans in the field as needed. This position requires both strategic planning and a willingness to work alongside the team to ensure top-quality results.

Qualifications/Requirements
- -Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Ecology, or a minimum 5 years of professional landscaping experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record and ability to operate commercial vehicles, back-up trailers, & operate heavy landscape equipment
- Skilled and experienced at operating excavators, skid steers, dump trucks, & commercial lawn mowers
- Capable of lifting 50+ pounds and enjoys strenuous physical labor on job sites throughout Westchester & Fairfield County
- Experience with reading landscape design plans, understands irrigation systems, basic carpentry knowledge, and has the ability to layout & install bluestone patios, walkways and masonry elements.
- Strong knowledge of native plants, trees, and shrubs of Northeast, invasive species management, and has the understanding of plant succession, habitat creation, and the benefits of ecosystem services
- Strong project management and crew supervision experience and have the ability to develop maintenance schedules and protocols
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical native plant ecological concepts to clients and team members
