 Compensation: $22-$27/hour

Brief: The Interior plant tech is responsible for general day-to-day care of client plants, as well as installation of new interior plants into client spaces. You will be working with multiple internal team members and external customers to ensure the business needs are met.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The hourly rate range for this role is $22 to $27 an hour.
  • 1 week paid vacation, 401K, vision, and dental insurance 

• General hours are 9-5 Monday to Friday. You may be needed to work late occasionally to complete the job tasks in a timely fashion during our busy season. There are also certain days where work may begin early as well.

• This position will work within customer job sites within Manhattan and/ or around the NYC area. 

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Water and maintain interior plant health within corporate offices and buildings.
  • Perform installations of new interior plants as well as replacements.
  • Identify plant diseases and pest and treat accordingly. 
  • Clean plants to ensure they look their best. 
  • Answer client questions as needed. 
  • Ensure proper documentation is kept for jobs. 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • High level of attention to detail is essential
  • Excellent work ethic and dependability. 
  • Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment. 
  • Must have a strong knowledge of interior plants and their care instructions.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills. 
  • Must be able to convey messages to employees clearly and quickly
  • Must be organized, able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks with precision and thoroughness. 
  • Ability to lift up +30 lbs of weight regularly.
