Garden Installation Crew | Part-Time

 Compensation: $25-30/hr

We’re looking for crew members to install new rooftop, sidewalk and backyard gardens in Brooklyn. You should be eager to learn, enjoy working with a team, have attention for detail and thrive outside. You must be able to lift heavy gardening materials and have stamina to work a full day with breaks. A background in gardening is preferred, but not required. 

We’re also seeking irrigation specialists and garden maintenance crew members, pay is commensurate with experience.

Outdoor Habitat primarily works in Brooklyn on multi-day installations. We’re a small, inclusive team and promote a positive atmosphere.

Responsibilities/Duties

Moving soil, planters and plants at job site. Install planters, plantings, irrigation and lighting (with guidance), and cleaning the site.

Strong work ethic, responsible, positive outlook, team player, eager to learn, physically active
