Compensation: $52k -$85k per year- based on experience
Edward Clark Landscape Architect and Wicklow and Laurano (W&L) a Landscape Design/Build Firm located in Flanders, NJ is seeking an Entry Level Landscape Designer to join our design department. We are a (4) person team of Landscape Architects and Designers who support our 100-person strong teams of field crews. We develop in house design work from concepts to CD’s. Projects range in scope from residential garden design to multi-family commercial projects. We are seeking an Experienced Landscape Designer to join our design department. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with all aspects of the landscape design/build process, all while working alongside a supportive and experienced team
Responsibilities/Duties
- Meeting with perspective clients
- Collecting field measurements
- Researching project specific Zoning, Engineering and Construction Codes
- Developing Concept Plans.
- Assembling supporting Imaging and Rendering
- Take-offs and Estimating
- Developing Landscape Construction Drawings
- Assistance with production of shop drawings and submittal packages.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Background and Interest in Landscape Design
- Strong Landscape Graphic Abilities
- Thorough knowledge of use and performance of plant material.
- Understanding of Grading and Drainage.
- Familiarity with Landscape Construction Materials.
- Ability to work on site 40 hours per week.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or related program
- Proficiency on Photoshop and Excel
