Contract Gardener for Indoor & Outdoor Plant Care

Start Date: To Be Confirmed  Compensation: $25 - $40 per hour (based on experience)

We are looking for an experienced Contract Gardener to manage the care of indoor and outdoor plants for select projects, including a private residence and occasional corporate projects. This is a project-based role with the potential for long-term opportunities for the right candidate.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Care of indoor plants, including watering, pruning, fertilizing, and pest control
• Installation of indoor plants, including offsite prep, on-site planting, soil/drainage installation, and cleanup
• Maintain outdoor garden areas, including planting, weeding, mulching, trimming, and seasonal maintenance
• Assess and monitor plant health, offering care recommendations as needed
• Manage pest and disease control for both indoor and outdoor environments

Qualifications/Requirements

• Must have prior experience working with both indoor and outdoor plants
• Indoor and outdoor plant maintenance experience required. Experience with plant installations preferred.
• Ability to identify and care for various indoor and outdoor plant species
• Experience with landscaping and horticultural practices
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good to have: references demonstrating relevant experience
• Good to have: knowledge of sustainable and eco-friendly gardening techniques is a plus
