Whether you are a company with many employees or just starting out on your own, this program is for you, because we all need insurance. This informative webinar, presented by Kate Savage and George Grossmann of Farm Family Insurance with an introduction by Don Sussman, Principal of Garden and Structures Solutions, will discuss liability, excess liability, E&O, workers comp, contract and labor insurances and a whole lot more.
You’ll hear from an expert (that’s George!) who started his career in horticulture as a nurseryman before turning to insurance for our industry. There has never been a more important time to have this discussion, as you look to protect the investment you have put into your business and find a way to get a better night’s sleep. We hope you’ll join us!
MORE ON OUR PRESENTERS:
George R. Grossmann has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. After receiving his B.S. in Horticulture from Cornell University, George returned to run the family farm and nursery garden center in Malverne, NY. In 1989, George was intrigued by the challenge of Business Agricultural Insurance and started a new career with Farm Family Insurance, a company he still represents today.
Within 20 years, George was inducted into the Farm Family Agent Hall of Fame as only the 25th inductee in the history of the company. He has his own insurance agency in Bohemia, NY with four full-time support staff, because he understands that extraordinary customers service is a must. He now represents many insurance carriers and is able to place business owners with the best insurance for their needs while always striving to provide more coverage for dollars spent.
George is also a Life and Qualifying Member of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), an organization of only the top 1% of all Life and Financial Advisors in the world. That has enabled him to take care of all the insurance needs of his clients and to show the value of dealing with one advisor for all business needs. His favorite part of his role at Farm Family Insurance is building relationships in the community and partnering with business owners to protect their assets and control their costs. In his spare time, George and his wife, a co-business associate, enjoy traveling, gardening, and learning new ideas.
Kate Savage is a transplant to the New York metropolitan area, having moved to Long Island in 2015 from northern New York after graduating from St. Lawrence University with a B.A. in English. Thereafter, she quickly found a niche in the insurance industry with George Grossmann and Farm Family/American National, and in 2017, Kate earned her NYS Property & Casualty broker’s license. She now manages the commercial lines department in George’s agency, with a focus on matching clientele with specialized coverage needs to a carrier that will meet those needs. In her spare time, Kate enjoys trail running and live music.
