Margaret is a champion of Wave Hill, having served as both a member of our Board of Directors and as Chair of the Friends of Horticulture Committee. Her passions are closely aligned with Wave Hill's mission—to train a new generation of high-caliber, environmentally conscientious horticulturists, and help them hone a keen plant person's palette. With her popular New York Times column and A Way to Garden podcast, Margaret provides a platform for many varied and informed voices, educating audiences from novice to nuanced expert.
