The topic is the Alhambra in Granada, Spain, a magnificent Moorish palace and garden. Moorish gardens are an iteration of the original Persian style garden that developed when Islam spread to Spain. The Walled Garden at Untermyer Gardens is a prime example of a Persian style garden and it includes Moorish influences, among others.
Tickets are $35 (or $25 if you only want a recording). A reception will follow the lecture.
