Speaking for the Trees: The Importance of Old Growth Forests
Dr. Joan Maloof, founder of the Old Growth Forest Network and Professor Emeritus of Salisbury University will present the Blackburn Scholarship Lecture for 2019. Dr. Maloof works tirelessly to preserve and protect old growth forests hoping eventually there will be a forest within a short distance of every town or city. Proceeds from this lecture support the Benjamin Blackburn Scholarship which is awarded to a student in the Landscape and Horticultural Technology Program at County College of Morris.
Program eligible for 2.0 Rutgers Master Gardener CEU’s.
