The annual Winter lecture, given by Stephen F. Byrns of the Untermyer Gardens Conservancy. The principal garden at Untermyer Gardens is an Indo-Persian garden, first designed in 1915 and now restored.

The Untermyer Gardens Conservancy 2019 Winter Lecture, Paradise Found: The Gardens of Mughal India, will take place Monday, March 11 at 6:00 PM in the Parish House of the Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church in Manhattan. Untermyer Gardens Conservancy President Stephen F. Byrns will present an illustrated lecture on the development of these sublime gardens, which developed over 150 years in Mughal India. He will examine the history, design, horticulture and spiritual significance of these gardens, accompanied by extensive photographs and plans.
