Summer Meadow Ecology Walk

Explore the Naval Cemetery Landscape's native meadow while learning about our ecological practices and how we support native wildlife.Learn about how native plants support a rich array of life: soil and other microorganisms, insects, birds, and us! Participants will observe a designed and managed landscape where aesthetics are just one of many components that guide the design and maintenance and learn how plant and management choices affect habitat. Build skills in making observations in natural spaces.
