MSPC Botanical Book Club : Session 1

Spend the winter months diving into the topic of urban forestry. This January and February, MSPC’s Botanical Book Club will read Jill Jonnes’ Urban Forests: A Natural History of Trees and People in the American Cityscape. Join us via Zoom to discuss the wonderful world of New York City’s urban forest. Book club members will gain insight into how people began caring for urban trees and what exciting things lie ahead in urban forestry! 

Join MSPC staff as we begin the discussion of Urban Forests: A Natural History of Trees and People in the American Cityscape by Jill Jonnes. The first part of this three-part series will cover some of the themes and backgrounds found throughout the book.
