MSPC Botanical Book Club : Featuring Emily Maxwell

Spend the winter months diving into the topic of urban forestry. This January and February, MSPC’s Botanical Book Club will read Jill Jonnes’ Urban Forests: A Natural History of Trees and People in the American Cityscape. Join us via Zoom to discuss the wonderful world of New York City’s urban forest. Book club members will gain insight into how people began caring for urban trees and what exciting things lie ahead in urban forestry! 

Join Emily Maxwell of The Nature Conservancy and MSPC staff as we continue the conversation about urban forestry. Emily will share about the state of the urban forest. She will also discuss the Forest For All NYC coalition and the future of the urban forest. Learn more and register HERE
