Caroline Seebohm, author of the soon to be published book “Paradise on the Hudson” will be giving a talk entitled “Paradise Found: The Creation, Loss and Revival of a Gilded Age Garden,” about Samuel Untermyer and his gardens and their subsequent decline and ongoing revival.
Monday March 9 at 6 pm at Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church Parish House, 923 Madison Ave, between 74th and 75th Streets.
Reception and book signing after the lecture. A limited number of books will be for sale at the event, but there is an option to purchase a book at the time of online ticket purchase. Purchase tickets at untermyergardens.org for $25. Books are an additional $25 (cheaper than amazon).
