Foliage provides the backbone of any garden. While many plants fl ower for only a few weeks, their leaves provide continuous seasonal interest. Dan will discuss the foliar enchantments of tropical, herbaceous and woody plants. Dan Benarcik is a horticulturist at Chanticleer in Wayne, Pennsylvania. He oversees the Courtyard Gardens, concentrating on tropical, sub-tropical and tender perennials for seasonal display. Previously he had been the woodspath gardener at Mt. Cuba Center.
