Seiko Goto is the author of The Japanese Garden: Gateway to the Human Spirit, a textbook on the history of Japanese gardens. She has an MA in Landscape Architecture from Harvard, a Ph.D in the history of Japanese Gardens from Chiba University. She currently teaches in the department of Landscape Architecture at Rutgers.
